Since my election, Campbell PD has received international awards for its use of cutting-edge technology to help solve & prevent crimes such as our (first in the nation) drone program and in-house FLOCK camera system.
During my time on city council, there have been many positive local news stories (include links) bringing attention to the various community events & other efforts to both connect & protect our neighbors & businesses.
I've also had the honor of reviewing and approving the final plans for our new state of the art police station.

I preserved our small-town look and feel while also planning for and building new housing which includes hundreds of already approved or constructed affordable homes.
I fought for policies that increase our housing stock by sensible means such as allowing homeowners to convert their single-family residences into multi-family units, and by lifting restrictions on the building of ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units). This allows much more freedom and extra income for homeowners, as well as more affordable options for renters due to the greater availability of housing stock within our community. That's a WIN-WIN for Campbell residents!
I've also been by far the loudest voice during my time on council regarding tenant protections & rent stabilization ordinances. Currently 3 out of 4 of my colleagues agree that a 17% average increase in rent for our residents over the last 2 years (2025 data) is too much... but have yet to join me in taking action.
-New Housing Committee (currently being discussed)
-Reviving the Campbell Rent Mediation Program (currently being discussed)

Working in partnership with our Campbell School districts, I am proud to say that childcare will be made available to residents, no matter your income level, so long as your child is enrolled in one of our schools.

I believe that a community can only thrive when everyone's basic needs are met.
During my time on city council, I've helped ensure more food for needy people in Campbell through coordinated efforts of churches in our community working with Second Harvest Food Bank & other organizations… West Valley Community Services (mobile food market) are currently being provided to Campbell households on a weekly basis at the Moreland School District and Rosemary Elementary School. Specifically, the Park It Market functions as a mobile food market that provides fresh produce, dairy, meat, and other essential staples to individuals and families facing economic hardship. In 2025, the Campbell City Council, through its Civic Improvement Commission and its Social Services Subgrant program, awarded WVCS with a $5,000 grant to be used for the Park It Market program for Fiscal Year 2025/2026. Prior to this award, WVCS had annually served 50 Campbell households. Their goal for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 is to serve up to 100 Campbell households.
